Crater marking

Here is a picture of a crater with a faint outer depression, not all are like this but when you get one should the outer part be included in the marking?

That might be the extent of the ejecta blanket in which case we just mark the actual crater - ie the main impact.

Are there composite maps of the image areas being created by the science team, and I wonder if it's possible to be able to have access to viewing image composites of marked crater areas once an image area has been marked a set number of times, kind of like in The Milkyway Project.

I think the kind of thing you are talking about is what the science team are working on - so there are no complete maps available just yet. I'm sure as the science progresses we will get to see these.
