The Moon Tonight

A thread to report phases, conjunctions, occultations, eclipses and favourable viewing for certain features, etc.

Tonight there will be a rather nice conjunction of Venus, a 2.9 day old Crescent Moon, and M35 open star cluster (look just above the Moon). Nice through binoculars if you have a pair handy! :)

There will be a lovely daytime Moonrise in the UK today - 5.20 pm. Find a clear south eastern horizon and just watch!
