Apollo 17 Update from science lead Roberto

Update via the Moon Zoo Facebook Page:

Dear all, I am happy to inform you that the Apollo 17 focus exercise has produced 400,000 (!) new 'annotations'. Taking a speculative average of five annotations per crater, this gives us ~80,000 new and old craters being noted in a few months! Thank you all to the new and old moonzoologists!

Science 'interpretation' is being churned on as we 'write' (not as straightforward as one might think), but rest assured, your input will not go wasted.

This brings us on the next stage of our targeted campaign: Apollo 12, sitting on the dark and flat maria Northwest of Fra Mauro. But stay online further news!

How many of those 80,000 impacts are new do you think?
