Large boulders in Anaxgoras crater, lunar north pole.

Lots and lots of boulders of all sizes in this crater.

Here's a couple of nice boulder trails I was offered in boulder Wars. The pic is a conglomeration of 24 images from the LRO. You'll find them around Latitude 49 Longitude 3.

Cheers. Ewan.

I see 3 long tracks and a very short one. Nice clear even (regular) tracks.

Do you have co-ordinates so the rest of us can see the area?

I did post that it was about Latitude 49 Longitude 3. Maybe I should have been more specific and gone about four points beyond the decimal point. I've just gone to my recents and it isn't among them so I'm afraid I'm not able to be more help at the moment.  :-[

That's definitely a bouldery crater. Suggests the material impacted was hard and rocky.

This is just one area of the Vavilov central peak, if you explore other areas you will find many more fields such as this one.
You will also find some nice outcrops along the crater rim.

Enough for everyone there. Handy for estimating the regolith thickness too.
