Looks ( to me ) to be some stage of INA like or maybe notched cavities feature . In an apparent area of lava flows .

There is abit more if one would follow the act link up or down slope . I think this is something a smart person should chime in about Ireneant . ::)

Seems it may be a good example of lunar viscosity related to impact ejecta , maybe related to proximity of impacted material vs the actual impact , Time in the entrained atmosphere ,and maybe composition . Just geussing  ::) .

As this is good old Aristarchus I'd guess it's been well and truly studied. Very cool area to browse around though. It never disappoints.

A section of the floor of Pictet C, in the middle of an immense crater chain from Tycho.

Here 'tis: http://target.lroc.asu.edu/da/qmap.html?mv=eqc&mcx=-231787.5603&mcy=-1285456.21768&mz=12

Possibly an albedo effect - ie part of the bumpy terrain catching the light?

Yup , slope related .  South Mastiff has a lot of that kinda stuff at a few diff. light angles . As whatever it is ( impact related dust flowing down the slope , melt , lava ) is everywhere on slopes . And is quite hypnotizing on the lower angled , darker pics .
