After a hard day measuring craters and hunting for bits of spacecraft why not pull up a chair and chat?
Kettle's on...

I had some problems with the cratering tool. The demo shows the person clicking on a crater and then expanding the target ring to fit the crater. When I do it, I have to click on the crater to set up the target ring, then click back on the toolbar to turn off the target ring selection, then expand the ring to fit the crater.

Is this the way everyone else is doing it?

Hold the left mouse button down to select a crater and keep it held down to size it. Then let go.

Perhaps we should make a list of things over in the Technical thread. Hang on....
