Likewise with this impact, what caused the ejecta to turn into rubble / rocks instead of the fine wispy ejecta that i've seen on other impacts? is it because it's a smaller impact or somehow an older impact?

I suppose it must be due to the type of material impacted, in that some material breaks up into coarse "rubble" while other material leaves finer ejecta.

That makes sense. I see it now. Reminded me of a caldera - so I wasn't far out! That crater on top of the dome threw me as it's shape looks odd - maybe due to illumination angle. Anyway nice find KM and nice bit of detective work placid! 8)
