Lunar Lander Coordinates
« on: November 01, 2010, 12:18:23 pm »
The following list shows the lunar landers and their coordinates. I have found these in various places on the net - please inform the mods of any mistakes or additions.

The second entry in this thread shows the lunar lander list in alphabetical order.

The third entry in this thread shows the Lost landers (those with no known coordinates).

Landers which have been found (by Moon Zoo users or others) are colour-coded limegreen and details will be found in the Spacecraft or Space Debris thread.

Technical Report No. 32-523, Tracking System Data Analysis Report, ~ Ranger 4 Final Report dated March 1, 1964...   “Based on the orbit determined from the transponder data, lunar impact occurred (on the dark side of the moon) at 12:50:00 GMT. The total flight time from injection to lunar impact was 63.76 hr.”  Here the impact point is stated as “-11.964 deg latitude, 231.45008 deg longitude, 1738.0897 km radius”.
