Very interesting Jules, and I have a question about terrain too.  Are those sinuous channels or something else.  ???  Maybe old lava flows?

I have found a few like that.  When I try to send the empty classification I get a warning.  ???

What would be nice for these pictures is a map of the Moon with grid markings on it so we could say where the picture was, e.g. square D6

We would need to post a standard picture with grid markings for everyone to refer to.

But maybe we should wait until we see how favourites will be handled in the next release - it may have some method we could use.

What about the Right Angle pattern on the lower right of this picture?  An intelligent made rectangular plaza, partially buried?

The minimum crater sizes that can be drawn at each level are:

High Zoom = 10m
Med Zoom  = 40m
Low zoom   = 84m

I'm getting used to the different levels of zoom and using these measurements as a way to find a general scale.

Thanks for posting the crater size range Tommy  :)

It would be good if you could come up with something to make it easier for beginners to get a grasp of the scale of what they're looking at.

If we could have an image of an old-fashioned Volkswagen Beetle at the bottom of the image as it would look if it was parked on the surface, this would give a good indication of the size of what we're looking at  :D
We do need something to give us a sense of the size of things.

It would also be nice to have the zoom level at the bottom of the image, e.g. Z1, Z2 or Z3.
