Ray Crater exclusion zone
« on: December 25, 2011, 03:10:49 pm »
Sorry for hijacking your top post placid but it's the only way I can add things! This is a great idea for a collection and I just wanted to point people to Tom128's excellent Image of the Week in which Moon Zoo team member IreneAnt explains the ejecta exclusion area in Daguerre Crater. To aid any further analysis can I ask people to post lunar coordinates for each image you post? Happy hunting!
Jules

A spot for "Ray Craters" with dark wedge shaped ejecta exclusion areas . i.e.. looks like someone swiped a pice of the pie .
